Our students are not the church of tomorrow.
They’re the church of today.
The Rt. Rev. Robert C. Wright, Bishop of Atlanta
EYCDIOATL is the acronym for the Episcopal Youth Community of the Diocese of Atlanta. Our EYC is a vibrant community of youth spanning over one hundred worshipping communities in Middle and North Georgia. We exist to help youth and young adults develop a deeper relationship with God and a better understanding of how to embody the love of Jesus however they can, wherever they are. Our program is led by the Youth Missioner, who works with a team of diocesan and parish staff to serve our parishes, youth and young adult ministers, and students (6th grade-college).
We exist to form disciples by sharing the inclusive and unconditional love of Jesus Christ in worship, servant leadership, and spiritual formation.
We do this in two ways:
1. By equipping students to mature in their faith and leadership capacities;
2. By providing practical support to and partnership with parish clergy and lay leaders.
All middle school, high school, and college students are invited to be a part of this community. Together, we’re here to love like Jesus.
Stretching across almost 76 counties, the Diocese of Atlanta is comprised of roughly 50,000 people who follow Jesus in our 117 vibrant and diverse worshiping communities. We challenge ourselves and the world to love like Jesus as we worship joyfully, serve compassionately, and grow spiritually.

As the Retreat and Conference Center of the Diocese of Atlanta, Camp Mikell (pronounced “MY-kull”) is where we host the majority of our diocesan youth retreats. For many youth and adults who’ve grown up in our diocese, this camp (located in the beautiful mountains of Toccoa, Georgia) is a second home.
